I am [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] sufficiently lucky to get spend quite some time on this wonderful small island with my work but it’s only the second [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] time that my family have come with me. We stayed in a friendly hotel in Guernsey named the Rocquettes which is located in the harbour and capital of Guernsey St Peter [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] Port.
The beaches on Guernsey are impressive to say the least as are the cliff top walks with amazing views, and anybody who likes to do a bit of fishing couldn’t go to a better place. I took my son George and my Dad in law out on a fishing outing with one of the local fisherman and cannot believe the number and variety of fish that we caught. We even got the chef back at the hotel to prepare our evening meal with a number of them.
I am writing this short note [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] while sat on the ferry after having holidayed in Guernsey for the week with my family.
Steve Smith is lucky enough to be able to visit the stunning island of Guernsey pretty often and spends lots of his time in some great Guernsey pubs [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] and great Guernsey restaurants.
St Peter Port or town as the Guerns call [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] it is the capital of Guernsey and is an excellent place to stay when checking out the island with [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] plenty to do and see. It is full of trendy small shops and as the [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] island is VAT free there are some [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] great [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] little deals to be found.
There also [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] are some great lively pubs on the island with masses of character [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] and some that serve tasty food including “The Swan Inn” in St Peter Port which is listed in the Michelin guide, or perhaps the bar on the beach at Cobo Bay where you can watch the sunset while enjoying your favourite.
There are some excellent fish restaurants in Guernsey that cater for all tastes and being a harbour the fish eateries are particularly good with heaps of fresh locally caught fish on the menu.
